Frequently Asked Questions

I have put together a list of frequently asked questions, in hopes to make this process a little clearer and easier for you.  If you still have questions, please feel free to email me anytime! 

What can I expect from you as my coach?

My concierge service is tailored to meet your individual on-going needs.  I will work very closely with you during our private  one on one time together to ensure you are on the right path to achieving your ideal wellness vision. 

  • First, we will have a consultation to make sure we are a good fit and I can help you with your particular goals.  We will discuss realistic expectations from you as the client and me as your Nutritional Coach. 

  • If we move forward, I will have you fill out a few documents to get a better understanding of your health and sign our coaching agreement. 

  • Then we take care of any payment that is due based on our agreement and the plan you selected. 

  • After all that is completed,  the fun begins! 

Details:

  • Basic programs will have a minimum of two bi-weekly sessions each month.

  • Each session is 60 mins long. Be prepared for things to get personal, if needed. I can't help you, if I don't know what the real problems are!  

  • Our sessions are available in-person in the comfort of your own home or zoom calls, depending on your location.

  • If applicable, I can accompany you during grocery store trips to make shopping easier.

  • To ensure you don't feel alone during this journey, we will have a quick weekly check-in and you can email me anytime during the ongoing weeks if you have questions. 

  • Once we are established, I will supply you with any needed customized handouts that you can use as references for support to reach your goals. 

Do you offer meal plans?

I can help you develop and guide you towards customized meal plans. It is imperative that a prescribed meal plan be obtained exclusively from a Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD).  As a professional in the health field, I am committed to providing comprehensive coaching and personalized nutritional support to assist you in reaching your desired goals. My area of expertise lies in offering valuable tips, sound advice, and healthier alternatives to ensure optimal results.  With that being said, suggesting healthy and easy recipe ideas that fit your lifestyle and goals... I got you!  When you're ready, we can even go grocery shopping together. 

Do you offer  payment plans?

Of course!  I know, like most, things are hard for everyone these days.  When you're trying your best to stay healthy having another large monthly expense doesn't help!  How the payment is split up will depend on what package you choose.  Plus, anything we agree upon will be outlined in our Coaching Agreement prior to our first session to avoid any confusion in the future!   

How long should I plan to use your services?

Typically, individuals commence their journey towards developing new healthy habits with a 3-month period. However, it is important to acknowledge that each person's circumstances are unique, and some may need additional time to achieve their goals. (and that's okay!) On the other, if you already have a solid foundation but need a few tricks and tips along the way... One month may suffice! 

What if I don't live in your area?

Despite me offering the concierge coaching to local folks, that does not mean I am off limits to people needing help outside my radius!  The whole point is to help those that want guidance and support.  So, if you're in a different state, a few hours away or simply prefer virtually... no problem!  We can always have private virtual meetings instead.  If you're up for it, I can even be on video call during your grocery trip!  You receiving the guidance and support, is priority.   

How much do your coaching sessions cost?

Plans are designed to meet your unique needs, just like our sessions. With a variety of options to choose from, you can select a basic plan for only $100, covering one month of online support.  There are individual services like a guided grocery tour at a much lower cost.  See the Pricing & Plans page for more details.

Can you help me lose 20lbs?

I set behavioral-based goals with my clients, which means focusing on the actions and behaviors that will lead to achieving their desired outcome.

 

For example, if the goal is to lose 20lbs, we will focus on adopting healthy habits such as eating nutritious foods, increasing physical activity and reducing stress levels. By prioritizing these behaviors, my clients can achieve both physical and mental wellness, resulting in a healthier lifestyle. Unlike outcome-based goals, behavioral goals are more achievable and sustainable in the long run.

Nutritional Coach vs Dietitian? 

As a Certified Holistic Nutritional Coach, I work closely with you on your health journey, specifically in behavioral changes.  I help identify healthier food selections, managing stress, and guiding you to a healthier lifestyle overall. 

 

The difference is that coaches will not diagnose or treat clients like counselors who are RDNs, LNs, or RDs do.  Their counseling is more clinical in nature.  Licensed professionals, such as a Dietitian or your local Physician,  can supply directive counseling, diagnosing conditions, prescribe medications, and treating the disease directly.
